Sarah Jane’s Yarn Shoppe was founded in the Fall of 2007 on a vacation trip to Sanibel Island, Florida by sister’s Linda, Sally and Linda’s daughter Lori. After much plotting and scheming, the store opened in January of 2008. We named the store after our mother Sarah Jane who had taught all three of us to knit. We hoped the store would fill a need in the community for quality yarn in an atmosphere that is conducive to shopping or just relaxing with other like minded knitters.
In Mayof 2010 Lori moved to Mississippi. We miss her bright shinning presence and innovative ideas but will continue with our original plans for the store, Great Yarn in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
