When I saw the shawl on the front of Vogue Knitting’s Summer issue I thought it was very pretty, but when I looked at the pattern I knew I had to make it.
The shawl is made in a complete circle and yesterday I finished the inner circle of the pattern. The pattern had a mistake, but for the most part was pretty straight forward.
I’m making mine out of Brown Sheep Cotton Fleece, it’s great to work with and I’m right on with my gauge. Hopefully today I will start on the next part so I can work on it at the Knit In on Friday.
This is similar to the Pinwheel sweater, which I knit then gave away because it did not look good on me. Photos of these kinds of projects always show the back but not the front, so when you get your shawl done, post pics from all angles please!
