Bringing in the Sheep

At last all my Brown Sheep arrived today.  I got bulky, burly, DK,  cotton fleece and even some sock yarn.  The sock yarn is even nicer than I thought it would be, so I think I will go ahead and order some more tomorrow.  I went to the Home Depot today and had some dividers cut so I can start doubling up the yarn in the bins in order to make room for all the new stuff.  Next time you come into the shoppe make sure you take plenty of time to look around as I continue to rearrange yarns and add new ones.  The first seven people who come into the store and mention that they read this post will get 15% off their entire purchace.

If you haven’t worked with Brown Sheep Cotton Fleece, you absolutely have to check it out.  Some people don’t enjoy cotton because of it’s lack of give, some people don’t enjoy wool because it is hot and scratchy – I think everyone will love this cotton/wool blend.  I’ve ordered in some pattern support that focuses on kids, but it will translate well to most garments.  The DK is also quite nice, and I found some patterns for felted gloves, mittens and hats that use it.  The items felt up a little softer when the Dk is used, so it makes the gloves and mittens much easier to move your hands in.

The rain may be turning into snow any minute, so I hope the weather doesn’t keep you from stopping by the shoppe.  The fake forsythia is always in bloom at Sarah Jane’s and we will be happy to see you when you stop in.
