We have been officialy open for a month now and I’m still not sure I know what I’m doing. I have so enjoyed all the people we have met since we opened and am thankful for all their patience through the opening process. The technical stuff continues to be a struggle for me, the very fact that I am writing a new post is a minor miracle. Many thanks go out to Eric Hall, www.designedbyeh.com who has felt my pain and is jumping in and helping me with the website. Please check back to the site regularly as it will continue to improve both visually and in content.
Our second month should be even better as we are adding many new yarns. Next week Brown Sheep arrives, Fort Wayne’s love of this yarn cannot be denied, so my Dad is buiding a storage unit even as I type. Other new arrivals include Mountain Colors, Misti Alpaca, Claudia Handpainted and new patterns from Cabin Fever. I have orded some beautiful recycled silk, purse handles and buttons, and we are expanding the Araucania hand dyed yarns. Gedifra‘s and Debbie Bliss‘s spring yarns are trickling in and we are bringing in Addi’s lace needles. Please stop by often as my mom and aunt keep buying the yarn as soon as it comes in!
Thanks to all who have emailed me or come into the store with requests and comments, I greatly appreciate it!

Just saw the pictures of the shop on your site. It looks great. Glad everything is going so well.
Yay for a new post! I hope you’ve had time to stop for a moment and be proud of your accomplishment — the store is lovely, and the fact that you’ve been too busy to post is a testament to its success.
Thanks for the mention in the post and for the link back to my site…
The store really is great. I’m glad I can help out making the site be all that it can be!
I was in your shop for the beginner knitting class and absolutely LOVED it! I have tried to learn to knit all my life and FINALLY learned thanks to your wonderful staff. The atmosphere of your shop is so warm and accepting and the ladies that work there are soooo patient with their beginners. Thanks to you and your staff I am now a knitter! I am a woman obsessed with making all sorts of baby hats. I think I may venture out to make sweaters and socks soon. My future grandchildren will be sporting some fun outfits thanks to all of you. Thank you so much for my new favorite hobby. Anyone wanting to learn to knit…. this is definitely the place to learn. I wish you the best and hope you are in business a long long time.
